Small Talk is the fourth and most emotionally resonant album from Chicago duo Whitney. After a decade of collaboration in both Smith Westerns and Whitney, longtime bandmates Julien Ehrlich and Max Kakacek entered the studio in the summer of 2024 without a producerjust trusted friends dropping in to contribute.

The result is a collection of 11 incandescent songs that showcase everything Whitney does best: tender melodies, wistful lyricism, and a natural warmth thats been elevated to new heights.
