VANGELIS L’Apocalypse Des Animaux (1981 UK Polydor label 7-track vinyl LP, picture sleeve – the soundtrack to the 1973 film of the same name by Frederic Rossif, recorded in 1970 while Vangelis was still a member of Aphrodite’s Child; in contrast to the way he later recorded soundtrack music [watching the filmed material, then composing to it], he simply recorded a suite of generic tunes [based on the wildlife theme of the project, but not having access to it] and left it to the film editors to splice in whatever they needed! The sleeve has some light foxing and edge wear. The vinyl is excellent with light play)
