• With his new album “Drunk”, the bassist and music producer from Los Angeles presents the follow-up to his mini-album “The Beyond / Where The Giants Roam” from 2015.

  And for this, Thundercat once again collaborates with a who’s who of the American music scene. Already the first official single “Show You The Way” features no less than singer, guitarist and songwriter Kenny Loggins and Michael McDonald of the Doobie Brothers as guest vocalists.
  Also on “Drunk” are the rappers Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell and Wiz Khalifa, the tenor saxophonist Kamasi Washington and the DJ and producer Flying Lotus.
  Together with them and alone, Thundercat ventures on “Drunk” a total of 23 songs, a long journey through jazz, funk and soul, hip-hop and electronica.Instead of a conventional LP, “Drunk” is available as a limited edition box set with a total of four 10″ singles on red vinyl.
