• Talk Talk was a British band that started as synth-pop in the early 1980s and turned to post-rock around 1986.

  Talk Talk is considered one of the most influential pop bands of the 1980s
  Laughing Stock is the fifth and last studio album by Talk Talk. It was released in 1991 and was the band’s only album released on the jazz label Verve Records, after the band had left EMI.

  Like its predecessor Spirit of Eden (1988), it is considered one of the pioneering albums of postrock.
