To mark 20 years since its original release, Sigur Rs are reissuing their beloved album Takk in a freshly remasterededition that brings new depth and clarity to a modern classic. First released in 2005, Takk is the album thatintroduced so many to the band, with singles Glsli, Sglpur and Hopppolla bringing a whole new audience. Takk was recorded at the bands own studio, Sundlaugin, near lafoss in the town of Mossfellbr, outsideReykjavk. The album was produced by the band with Ken Thomas, Takk being the third successive and final studioalbum they worked on together. This reissue has been carefully remastered by the bands long standing masteringengineer Ted Jenson at Sterling Sound. The result is a clearer, fuller sound that keeps all the warmth and magic of theoriginal while letting the details shine through.

Available on 3 x 12 vinyl for the first time, this edition of the album now contains the 3 original Takk era B Sides aswell as two new and previously unreleased tracks: Melrakki and Elfur.
