ROBIN LENT Scarecrow’s Journey (Rare 1971 UK 10-track vinyl LP on the Nepentha label, established by UK record producer Larry Page in 1971 and distributed in the UK through Philips, the debut and only album from the American singer, housed ina matt gatefold picture sleeve printed with lyrics on the inside. This example was one part of the BBC Gramophone Library, and has a barcoded sticker on the front and a strip down the front where a log of play would have been written, along with three other BBC related stickers on the reverse and ‘BBC Gramophone Library’ stamp on the label. The sleeve surprisingly, has just a little light edge wear, and from what we can see wasn’t taken from the library as the log remains black apart from ‘No. 3’ stamped at the top and has a number 3 hand written on the front. The labels have just a couple of very light spindle marks and the vinyl remains very clean and in a near mint condition. An unusual example of this rare and hard to find pressing)
