This vinyl record is the highly acclaimed second studio album by the legendary rock band, released in 1968. The band faced challenges during recording, as singer and guitarist Syd Barrett’s mental health deteriorated. However, the addition of David Gilmour brought a new dynamic to the album before Barrett’s departure. Unlike their debut album, where Barrett was the sole songwriter, ‘A Saucerful of Secrets’ showcases the contributions of each band member through their songwriting and lead vocals.
