Wavebreaker #1 is the first in a series of new split 7″s from Bad Time Records that aim to break down barriers between skas various generations, tear down the gatekeepers, and erase the wave narrative. This one comes from Less Than Jake, leaders of the 90s ska-punk boom, and Kill Lincoln, one of todays best ska-punk bands. LTJ and KL are a great match for a shared split, as both bands write fast, catchy songs that fuse together bright horn lines, unabashedly infectious hooks, and real-deal punk grit. If youre a Less Than Jake fan who hasnt heard Kill Lincoln, or vice versa, this split will likely change that. – Andrew Sacher
