Killers was originally released in February 1981 and is the second album by the British heavy metal band Iron Maiden. It came out on June 6, 1981, in the US. This album marked a special moment for the band, being the first to feature guitarist Adrian Smith and the last with vocalist Paul Di’Anno. It was also the first Iron Maiden album produced by the experienced Martin Birch, who would go on to work on their next eight albums before retiring after Fear of the Dark in 1992.
Fans often highlight the song “Wrathchild” as a favorite, as it remains the only track from the album played regularly during nearly all of their concert tours.
