Hobbs HeirloomPremium 80/20 Fusible Cotton/Poly Blend Batting is a double-sided, iron-on batting. This product eliminates the need for the time-consuming step of pin- or spray-basting and enables you to create your quilt sandwich in no time at all!

To fuse the Hobbs Heirloom Premium 80/20 Fusible Cotton/Poly Blend Batting to your fabric, set yourDRYiron to the appropriate temperature for your fabric (let it get nice and hot!) andpresseach area of the quilt, working from the center of the project to the outer edges its important that you dont move the iron, youre pressing NOT ironing!.

Its also important that you use a dry iron, no steam the fusing medium is water-soluble andif you get this batting wet, it wont stick!

Press in each spot for approximately 5-7 seconds (test for adhesion by letting a pressed area cool before tugging on the fabric if its adhered, continue; if its not, increase the amount of pressing time). Once you have covered the entire surface area of your quilt, allow the quilt to cool and check the back of your project to ensure its fully adhered and that there are no wrinkles or creases. Should you find wrinkles or creases, you can gently lift the fabric away from the batting, then smooth it back down and press it in place you can make these adjustments 1-2 times before the fusing medium will no longer adhere the batting to the fabric.
