BRIAN JONES Presents The Pipes Of Pan At Joujouka (Rare 1971 German two-part LP, gatefold picture sleeve with insert. Recorded in Morocco’s Atlas Mountains after Brian was invited there along with Brion Gysin. Jones then employed stereo phasing, echo & other effects back in London, way before Dub music & ‘remix’ culture, just a few months before his death, one of the most haunting recordings we can think of. The beige labels & front cover both have the uncorrected ‘Brian Jones plays with the Pipes Of Pan’ title. The sleeve [VG] has some discolouring & scuffing and the vinyl is also graded VG (with a stamped ‘Manufactured in German’ to the runouts) as there are some hairlines/scuffing visible but nothing that greatly affects play COC49100)
