Faye Webster announces Car Therapy Sessions, an EP of new andre-imagined songs by Webster recorded at Spacebomb Studioswith a 24 piece orchestra. The orchestra was headed by Trey Pollardwho was responsible for both conducting and arranging, and DrewVandenburg produced and mixed the EP. Car Therapy Sessions willbe available on vinyl in the fall and is available to pre-order on April13th.

I have a vivid memory of walking around London in 2018 listening toa mix of Jonny, which I had just written. I remember thinking I wantto perform this song with an orchestra. I truly have had my heartset on it since then, always talking about it and figuring out how orwhen to make it happen, says Webster.

On the EP, Webster reimagines three songs from her criticallyacclaimed 2021 release I Know Im Funny haha and 2019s AtlantaMillionaires Club. The songs Kind Of, Sometimes and Cheerstake on a cinematic and glimmering new sheen. In addition tothe title track – Car Therapy – she also shares a sprawling andemotional work – Suite: Jonny – which combines fan-favoritesJonny and Jonny (Reprise). The two songs originally appearedon the Atlanta Millionaires Club tracklist, two different views on thesame narrative. Here theyre presented together.
