BELIEVER Sanity Obscure (1991 Dutch/EU 8-Track Vinyl LP, second album from Pennsylvanian technical thrash metal outfit Believer. Sanity Obscure stands as a cult favourite of the early 90s underground scene, blending complex riff structures, rapid-fire drumming and socially conscious lyrical themes with flashes of progressive ambition that set the band apart from their contemporaries. An inventive and forward-thinking release that has grown in stature over the years among thrash and progressive metal collectors alike. Housed in a glossy picture sleeve complete with printed lyric inner, the sleeve shows some minor edgewear and light creasing from storage. The inner also displays creasing but remains free from rips or seam splits. The vinyl shows various cosmetic hairlines across the surface, none of which affect playback.
