This album showcases Guns N Roses blistering gig at the Nakano Sunplaza, in Tokyo, on 7 December 1988, during the Appetite for Destruction Tour

Here, the band rip through classics such as Sweet Child O Mine, Welcome to the Jungle, Paradise City, their iconic cover of Bob Dylans Knockin on Heavens Door, and more.

Comprising a total of 176 shows, across seven legs, the Appetite for Destruction Tour stretched out over sixteen-months across 1987 and 1988. During the tour, Guns N Roses opened for bands such as The Cult, Mtley Cre, Alice Cooper, Iron Maiden and Aerosmith, and headlined shows across four continents.

It is the only tour in which the classic line-up of Axl Rose, Slash, Izzy Stradlin, Duff McKagan and Steven Adler performed together, aside from opening four shows in Los Angeles for the Rolling Stones in October 1989.
