Sandfall Interactive, Kepler Interactive and Laced Records are banding together to bring Lorien Testards breakout soundtrack for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 to vinyl and CD.

This double LP has been thoughtfully sequenced by Lorien, featuring an essential selection of tracks from the soundtrack such as Lumire, Une vie peindre, and main character themes.

The music in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is pivotal in driving the emotive story that players have fallen in love with. Most tracks were written and recorded at Lorien Testards home studio, with a selection also performed and recorded by the prestigious Curieux Orchestre at Midilive Studios, Paris.

Loriens debut score is a musical painting that supports the games Belle poque setting. Among many others, the leitmotifs in Alicia and Lumire are woven into the fabric of the game experience, capturing the grief and hope of the characters and the beauty of Lumire.

Central to the appeal and effectiveness of the music are the vocal melodies of Alice Duport-Percierthe lead voice and emotional heart of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33s many vocal tracks. Joining Duport-Percier are vocalists Victor Borba (singer on Devil May Cry 5s Bury the Light) and mezzo-soprano Axelle Verner.

Following the initial release of the vinyl and CD soundtracks, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 made video game music history as it reached record-breaking spots for an original video game soundtrack in the US, UK, France and German album charts, securing six No.1 spots in the UK Albums Chart (Official Albums Chart) and six top-five placements in the US Albums Chart (Billboard), while debuting at No.2 in the French (SNEP) and German (Offizielle Deutsche Charts) charts.

This is in addition to the digital soundtrack spending more than 20 weeks at No.1 on Billboards Classical Album and Classical Crossover Album charts, a testament to the power of Lorien Testards musical storytelling.
