Early Days (2016-2019) is a new collection of previously unreleased songs dating to the singer and songwriteras teen years. A prolific songwriter from a young age, Tapia spent his teenage years writing and recording song after song in his parentsa living room, using little more than a guitar and an old four-track recorder. In 2019, Stones Throw released what would become Los Retrosa breakout single aSomeone to Spend Time Witha a viral hit that has since been certified Gold. While the track and subsequent EPs Retrospect and Looking Back introduced millions to Los Retrosa dreamy, lo-fi sound, a huge amount of music from that formative era has been unheard a” until now.
