This vinyl record embodies the bands most intimate, live-feeling approach, with songs performed live and almost no overdubs, letting Adrianne Lenkers voice sit raw and suspendedunembellished and striking.

Recorded at the vast Sonic Ranch desert location, the scorching 105-degree heat stripped away lush surroundings and memories of the prior session, grounding the music in the bones beneath the earth. The result is a bare-bones collection that contrasts with the previous work, pulling listeners into a focused, live-energy moment.
