• My Morning Jacket announce their new self-titled album! The ninth studio album, from the Kentucky-based band fronted by singer Jim James, will be released on October 22 via ATO Records!
  First single ‘Regularly Scheduled Programming’ was also unveiled and is the album’s opener – a spack-rock thunderstorm and poetic, psychedelic commentary on the urge to numb oneself to escape a painful reality – one of several songs featuring delicate backing vocals from Briana Lee and Maiya Sykes. In a multi-week process at 64 Sound studio in Los Angeles, the album was recorded with frontman Jim James also taking on the producer role for ‘My Morning Jacket’.
