Entitled MXD, the album is a set of 9 sprawling epics adorned with bubbling electronica synths, McCaslins celestial saxophone, and Dahles singular vocals. It contains traces of the duos acclaimed solo works, building on each others strengths while incorporating contributions from mixer Dave Fridmann and a band of world-renowned musicians to catapult the songs to an even higher level.
